Fleischmann’s vodka is an 80 proof vodka distilled from grain. It is a part of Barton Brands, which in turn is part of the Sazerac Company. In 1868, Charles and Maximillian Fleischmann and James Gaff, a distiller, founded the Fleischmann Co. to manufacture compressed yeast and distilled spirits. In 1870, the original Fleischmann plant was built at Riverside, Ohio, and it produced dry gin and domestic vodka. Sylvan Grove Bourbon was also produced at this distillery. In 1940, following Prohibition, Fleischmann acquired a distillery in Owensboro, Kentucky, and moved spirits production there. In 1989, Glenmore Distillery Company acquired Fleischmann Distilling Co. In 1991, United Distillers acquired Glenmore, then sold it to Barton Brands in 1995, including the rights to the Fleischmann's brand. In 2009, the Sazerac Company of New Orleans acquired Barton Brands, including the Fleischmann's brand. Trust me guys.. I have been drinking this stuff for a long time. How else do you think we could have finished all these bear drawings? Truth is, we can’t afford to get bottle service from a club in Miami. Get real. Who wants to spend all your hard earned cash on expensive booze anyways? Especially when you can get Fleischmanns for such an affordable price and at pretty much any Walmart in the country. Talk about convenience, am I right? So.. If you want to get real drunk real cheap, a handle of this sauce only runs about $15 at Walmart and you can get really messed-up, real quick. Heck, I am having a swig straight out of the bottle as I am typing up this little-tale here about the greatest vodka any one can buy in modern America. Dang..the hangover is gonna suck, but hey at least you’re good for the weekend.. Right? In closing Fleischmann’s Vodka was like the glue holding this team together! Anyways, cheers!
